The Civil Engineering Department at PREC is recognized for excellence in teaching and professional service.It is endowed with well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and committed supporting staff. All the laboratories of the department are well equipped with advanced and sophisticated instruments, to fully satisfy the training needs of the students and to meet the research and consultancy requirements.
Conducting seminars, workshops and conferences are some of the latest developments.
The interaction takes place at departmental and individual level in a special tutorial/ seminar event once in a week. The positive point of civil dept at PREC is the effect of talented young faculty, plus continued productivity of senior faculty.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

Mechanical engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. The department is equipped with latest equipment and computational facilities.
Our department has all laboratories as prescribed by the JNTUniversity, an exclusive seminar hall, one tutorial hall and workshop facilities with modern sophisticated equipment to carry out research in all areas. The faculties actively participate in sponsored research.

We have a machine tool industry attached to our college, and tie up with other leading mechanical industries, thus giving students an edge of practical understanding while studying, helping them to be placed.
Our department understands the impact of research developments upon undergraduate teaching so that taught courses remain stimulating and relevant. The department library has an extensive collection of academic books in the areas of latest technologies

ELECTRICAL AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
The ECE Department was established during the academic year 2009. In our department we have well spaced classrooms, seminar halls and well equipped laboratories. We have experienced faculty for guiding the students and motivating them in field of electronics and communication.

Our library has 1200 volumes of various books on the subjects and journals for motivating students for presenting papers, doing projects in different fields of their interest. The Faculty offer their guidance and support to improve their practical knowledge during their laboratory hours.

We also provide Guest Lecturers and Conduct Seminars on various topics in seminar hours added in the regular time table of the daily curriculum on invitation of some industry experts.

ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

This Institution is functioning in spacious building with well ventilated classrooms, fully equipped laboratories, and workshops with well qualified and experienced faculty. This department has well equipped impressive range of laboratories.

The department library has an extensive collection of academic books in the areas of latest technologies. Efficient staff guide students & individual attention is given to students.

Students are trained both quantitatively and qualitatively during the lab session that enhance their understanding and helps further to motivate them to taking projects and proves as a helping hand to do their projects efficiently. Practical awareness is inculcated to the students by arranging industrial visits & in-plant training.

Guest lecturers & seminars are held to update their knowledge in electrical and electronics engineering.Personality development programs are conducted to improve student's soft skills.

DEPARTMENT OF BASIC SCIENCE AND HUMANITIES

Department of basic science and humanities is supporting department for all engineering branches. Here the students are exposed to basic sciences like mathematics, physics, and chemistry in addition to English.
